SELF DEFENSE
Learning quality self-defense is crucial for women, as it not only enhances personal safety but also fosters confidence and empowerment. By training under the guidance of women martial arts and self-defense experts, participants gain invaluable insights from instructors who understand the unique challenges women face. This supportive environment encourages open dialogue and builds camaraderie among participants, making the learning experience both effective and enjoyable. Additionally, women who engage in self-defense training develop physical skills, mental resilience, and a strong sense of self-worth, equipping them to navigate the world with greater assurance and a proactive mindset. At Warrior Women, we believe that every woman deserves the knowledge and skills to protect herself and thrive.

Beverly has dedicated the past 15 years to teaching self-defense, distinguished as one of only two individuals ever promoted to "Sifu" in Jeet Kune Do by Sifu Singh. Renowned as an elite competitor in combat sports, Beverly has also taught military, law enforcement, and government agencies across the country. Her unique experiences as the sole female training alongside elite fighters—often larger and stronger than herself—have compelled her to develop innovative adaptations that offer invaluable insights for smaller women, which her male counterparts may overlook. Beverly’s approach extends beyond the physical components of self-defense; she emphasizes the importance of situational awareness, verbal de-escalation, stress management, emotional control, conflict prevention, and post-conflict training, equipping her students with comprehensive skills to navigate and respond to challenging situations effectively.
